Bhagirathi Peak Expedition in Uttarakhand Himalayas

Bhagirathi Peak Expedition Group has 3 sacred peaks located in Garhwali Himalayas at Gadgetry Valley. The Bhagirathi Peak 2 is the second-highest peak in the group lying at an elevation of 6512 meters. This Expedition comes under Gangotri National park. It rises above the origin of the Ganges from Gomukh.

Nandanvan is the Base Camp of Bhagirathi Peak Expedition. it is a wide meadow with many alpine flowers with lush greenery. Trek in Bhojbasa and Chirbasa, traverse the Gangotri glacier to reach there, it is all fun and adventure mixed together.

On this expedition, you will be camping at high altitude and moreover the rocks, The climb is technically difficult because you will be needing the equipment and the changing weather makes it hard for the climbers.

Bhagirathi Peak Expedition Guide

Day1 - Pick up to you from Dehradun railway station – Drive to Gangotri – 258 km) (10/11 Hours) (3415 Meter

Day2 -Rest day + Acclimatization

Day3 - Trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa camp (14 km) (6/7 Hours) (3775 Meter)

Day4 - Trek from Bhojbasa to Nandanvan (4337 m) via Gomukh

Day5 - An Acclimatization Day at Nandanvan

Day6 - Base Camp (Nandanvan) to Advance Base Camp (ABC) (4800 m) and back (Load Ferry)

Day7 - Base Camp (Nandanvan) to Advance Base Camp (ABC) (4800 m)

Day8 - Acclimatization Day at Advance Base Camp (ABC)

Day9 - Advance Base Camp to Camp 1 (5199 m) and back (Load ferry)

Day10 - Leave ABC and Set up camp 1 (5199 m)

Day11 - Camp 1 to Camp 2 and back (Load Ferry)

Day12 - Camp 1 to Camp 2

Day13 - Camp 2 to Summit Camp (6000 m) and back (Load Ferry)
