If you ask me about my favorite summer trek in Uttarakhand, then I definitely recommend the only trek that is Har Ki Dun. This 500-year-old trek is believed to have been taken by the legendary characters of Mahabharat. According to Hindu beliefs, during the Mahabharata period, the Pandava brothers Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, Bheema, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sahadevas took this route with Dropadi to reach Swargarohini. This is why this holistic valley got its iconic name, “Valley of Gods”.

Like many other summer trekking destinations in the Himalayas, you will get to experience the green meadows filled with vibrant wildflowers and butterflies, slow-covered distant mountain peaks, adventurous trails through dense forest, etc.
